Mr Putland will act in the role until the appointment of a permanent CEO is made later this year.

Mr Putland holds qualifications in sustainable development, environmental and business management, and a Ph.D in public policy. Mr Putland has substantial experience in local government including CEO at the Shire of Boyup Brook.

Shire President Liz Guidera said, “We are very happy to welcome Dale to Katanning, he is very experienced and qualified for the role, and we look forward to working with him during his time with us”.

“We are currently considering applications for a new CEO, and I am confident that Dale will keep our organisation moving forward until we make a full-time appointment.”
