Shire Administration & Civic Centre

The New Shire of Katanning Administration and Civic Centre, designed by Chris Egan of i2C Architects and built by Firm Construction, was completed in February 2019. 

The building houses the Council Chambers as well as around 40 staff and has sufficient capacity to meet anticipated future staffing needs. The New Administration and Civic Centre is located within the Austral Terrace Heritage Precinct and compliments the heritage values of the existing streetscape. 

Improvements to the Austral Terrace streetscape include new gardens and street trees, paving and removal of overhead powerlines.
