Skate & BMX Park

The Katanning Skate Park is located on the corner of Clive Street and Albion Street.

The Katanning Skate Park recently underwent an exciting redevelopment designed by Skate Sculpture in 2019 where it was extended to the street line with a variety of obstacles and elements added, that go beyond the traditional style, incorporating features such as parkour areas. Kids have the chance to increase their skating skills with the addition of different sized ledges, rails and half pipes.

The upgrades bring yet another dimension of multigenerational opportunity to the precinct and encourages youths to get more involved in physical activity.

The $5 million upgrade of Katanning’s All Ages Playground, Lion’s Park and Skate Park which was funded through the State Government Royalties for Regions program, Lotterywest and the Shire of Katanning. The precinct was designed by Plan E Landscape Architects and constructed by Environmental Industries.

The BMX track is located further east along Albion Street, towards the town centre.

Skate Park Rules

• Parental supervision is required at all times for children under 10 years of age
• Alcohol and glass are prohibited within and surrounding the skate park
• Rubbish is to be disposed of in the bins provided
• Graffiti and harsh removal methods will damage the parks surface
• Safety equipment including helmet, knee, wrist and elbow guards strongly recommended to be used at all times.
• Don’t use damaged surfaces or equipment
