This year’s Bloom Festival kicks off in Katanning with a not to be missed FREE Family Festival & Eco Fair.
Expect an array of entertainment including an exciting Pick up and Play workshop by Circus WA featuring talented circus trainers demonstrating various skills. Attendees are welcome to join in the fun with unicycles, juggling balls, flower sticks and plate spinning. RnB Soul Train will provide smooth tunes in the amphitheater, and Kite Kinetics will grace the sky with their
colourful kite display while kids learn to make their own flower spinners. There's also an eco-fair, bush basket making, flower arranging and informational workshops, delectable food stalls showcasing local flavours, and an abundance of engaging activities to captivate the imaginations of young and old alike.

of Katanning and hosted by Great Southern Treasures.
Each year, the Bloom Festival celebrates the renewal of spring throughout the Great Southern region, focusing on the exotic wildflower tapestries and town cultures that make up this amazingly diverse region.
The Festival will see more than 55 events and activities taking place across the Great Southern over six weeks. This provides unique experiences for an estimated 10,000 visitors, a mix of locals and visitors from around the country, to enjoy what nature and our passionate communities have to offer.
Events include arts and crafts, displays, exhibitions, fauna and flora-themed activities, food events, guided tours and hikes, heritage trails, markets, Noongar culture events, open gardens, wine and dine events, creative workshops, and more.
2023 Great Southern Treasures Bloom Festival is presented by WCP Civil and supported by Tourism WA, Ausgold, Lotterywest, Great Southern Development Commission, Rio Tinto, Regional Development Australia – Great Southern, Shire of Katanning and Southern Ports.
