A visit to the Katanning Ice Creamery, located within Katanning’s Co-Op, is a must for families with sweet teeth. Devour a scoop of creamy ice cream from this ice cream parlour, which also serves up delicious ice cream sundaes and banana splits or take away your favourite flavours to enjoy later. |

This 100-hectare lake located 17km east of Katanning is packed full of adventure. From camping and picnicking, to kayaking, swimming and bird watching – do it all at this access-friendly waterway. |

Home to WA’s first inland swimming pool, Katanning’s Aquatic Centre is a family friendly water playground. Featuring a 50m Olympic swimming pool, toddler pool and learn to swim pool, as well as free barbecue and picnic facilities, the centre is a great place to spend the day. |

Try spotting ducks, long-neck turtles and/or black swans in Piesse Lake, located within the brand new Piesse Park precinct. Here you’ll also find a botanic garden, large naturebased playground, outdoor amphitheatre and a dog exercise area. |

Katanning’s Skate Park and adjoining BMX Park offer plenty of fun for the whole family. Jump on your board, bike or skates and explore this outdoor obstacle course, which features ledges, rails, half pipes and other challenges. |
