Saleyards
Council operates one of the largest sheep selling complexes in the State. Sales are held every Wednesday and at other times by special arrangement. There is a viewing platform for interested visitors. The facility is located in the industrial area and can be accessed via Daping Street or Dore Street.
Saleyard Manager
Council employs a part time Saleyard Manager.

Receival and Outloading Times
Where there is a Store and Trade Sale (Wednesday and Friday) in the same week, the gates will open as follows:
OPEN 8.00am ON TUESDAY AND WILL REMAIN OPEN UNTIL 5.00PM FRIDAY
Where there is only a Trade Sale (Wednesday) in the week, the gates will open as follows:

Closes for receival at 8.00am. However, this time is subject to control by the Livestock Agents.
